Ben Saunders re-signs with the UFC after nine-month absence

"Killa B" is back.

Ben Saunders, an exciting welterweight fighter, has re-signed with the UFC after a few months away, he wrote Monday night on Twitter. Saunders confirmed the signing with MMA Fighting this week.

It's unclear whether Saunders will have to wait four months of being in the USADA drug-testing pool to compete again in the Octagon. Those who are in the USADA pool, leave it and then come back are usually subject to four months of testing before being eligible to fight again, but the UFC can waive that window. Saunders said he expected to be back by January, it not earlier.
