Ben Askren will defend his welterweight strap in a rematch against Luis Santos when One Championship returns to Singapore on Nov. 13.
Promotion officials confirmed the matchup to the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Tuesday. No other bouts have been announced for the event, which takes place at Singapore Indoor Stadium and is entitled “Pride of Lions.”
The first meeting between Askren and Santos was cut short just 2:19 into the opening frame at One Championship 26 when an Askren eye poke rendered his foe unable to continue and resulted in the championship bout being ruled a no-contest.
