Bellator MMA combatant Jordan Parsons passed away Wednesday afternoon following a hit-and-run incident in Delray Beach, Fla. He was 25 years old.
Parsons was 11-2 in professional MMA competition, most recently gaining fame as a featherweight competitor for Bellator MMA. Under the Bellator banner, Parsons went 2-1 with one knockout and one submission victory.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear member of the Bellator family, Jordan Parsons," Bellator President Scott Coker said in a statement. "Jordan was an exceptional athlete and a rising star in the sport.
