In his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heyday Francis Carmont went be the nickname "Limitless" because his teammates and fans believed he had no ceiling. Even though some of the bouts in his 11-fight win streak were controversial, it was nevertheless a run that seemed destined to put him into title contention.
However, a three-fight losing streak showed Carmont the limits he hadn't seen before and he was released by UFC. Carmont bounced back with a win over Guilherme Viana at Bellator 135, a fight that also saw the Frenchman move up from Middleweight to Light Heavyweight.
