Melvin Manhoef will continue his fighting career under the Bellator MMA banner.
Sherdog.com confirmed with a Bellator official on Tuesday that Manhoef has signed an exclusive, multi-fight deal to remain with the California-based promotion. Manhoef does not currently have a fight booked.
The 41-year-old Suriname-born Dutchman last appeared at Bellator 176, where he suffered a fourth-round knockout loss in a rematch with reigning middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho on April 8, 2017. “No Mercy” dropped a split decision to Carvalho in their first meeting at Bellator 155 in May 2016.
Manhoef is 2-3 with one no contest since signing with Bellator in 2014.
