Bellator MMA has once again retained the future services of a decorated collegiate wrestler, plucking blue chip wrestling standout, Romero Cotton, from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The Lopers (as Kearney's students athletes are known) won't have to say goodbye right away, though, as Cotton will be staying to complete his degree in psychology.
However, he plans to compete for Bellator MMA at Middleweight in 2017.
"Having seen how Bellator's recent string of wrestlers have been treated and performed, I'm honored to be the latest and there's nothing I'm looking forward to more than showing the world my skills that I've acquired throughout my life not only as a wrestler, but as an athlete.
