When kickboxer Joe Schilling moved back into MMA as a Bellator fighter, he likely expected to lord over the middleweight division his considerable striking prowess. To some extent, he did, but that came crashing down when Schilling was knocked out with one punch by Histaki Kato at Bellator 139 in June of 2015.
At Bellator's second Dynamite event, Schilling will get a chance to avenge his loss to Kato, but this time in a kickboxing bout. Bellator announced the match-up during Friday's Bellator 155 broadcast on Spike.
Schilling, 32, is 2-5 in professional MMA, but is 19-8 in professional kickboxing.
