Bellator Dublin’s main card produced a trio of stoppages, as fans in Ireland were treated to a fast submission win by prospect James Gallagher over late replacement Roman Salazar. Michael Page predictably knocked Richard Kiely out in the co-main event, but the best finish perhaps came courtesy of SBG’s Peter Queally, who rallied to stop Ryan Scope after it looked like Scope would put Queally away.
James Gallagher def. Roman Salazar via submission (guillotine choke) at :35 of round 1
Well... it’s a 35-second guillotine choke. Not a whole lot for me to describe. Gallagher went for the choke inside the opening 15 seconds, and really the only reason the stoppage was at :35 is because the ref took about nine taps to realize that Salazar had submitted.
