High Rollerz, a grappling promotion known for emphasizing pro-marijuana attitudes, will hold its tenth event on Saturday, December 11. The main attraction will be a 160-pound Grand Prix tournament with a $10,000 prize going to the winner. It was announced that Bellator MMA featherweight champion, AJ McKee is going to be one of the GP participants.
What is interesting is the fact, that McKee, who is undefeated in his professional fighting career and has an 18 – 0 record, has no formal BJJ or submission grappling experience. However, his ground game skills shown inside the MMA cage have secured him seven victories by way of submission, including two in the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix: a neck crank win over former Bellator champion Darrion Caldwell as well his featherweight title victory over Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire via guillotine choke at Bellator 263.
