UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Bellator 258’s championship headliner is official.
MMA Fighting was on the scene at the event’s official weigh-ins Thursday morning at Mohegan Sun Arena, where Juan Archuleta successfully made weight for his first bantamweight title defense, hitting the mark at 135 pounds on the nose. Challenger Sergio Pettis was the first to the scale and came in under the championship limit at 134.75 pounds.
The co-main event, the final opening round matchup of the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix, is also set for Friday night’s event as Anthony Johnson tipped the scale at 205 pounds for his first fight in over four years.
