Henry Corrales is out of the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix, and it could be a while before he returns to action.
Per documents obtained by MMA Fighting from the California State Athletic Commission, Corrales and five other fighters face potential six-month medical suspensions after competing at Bellator 228 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.
Corrales, who lost a unanimous decision to Darrion Caldwell in a Grand Prix opening-round encounter, requires clearance for a left elbow injury before being eligible to compete again. He could also be out for up to 60 days due to a cut over his right eye.
