42 fight MMA veteran Jon Fitch is thinking of calling it a career following his draw at Bellator 220.
Fitch, who fought to a majority draw against reigning Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald at SAP Center in San Jose, California on Saturday, told reporters at a post-fight media scrum that Bellator 220 may very well have been the last time we saw him compete as a mixed martial artist.
“I was having a lot of medical issues and a bad brain scan…” Fitch said, per BJPenn.com’s Drake Riggs. “And if I lost that fight [with Jake Shields] I was done and that was it for me.
