A lightweight clash pitting Saad Awad against Ryan Quinn has been added to the Bellator 178 lineup.
The California-based promotion announced the pairing on Tuesday. Bellator 178 takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on April 21 and is headlined by a featherweight championship clash between Daniel Straus and Patricio Freire. The evening’s main card will air on Spike at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
Awad, 33, has last three of his last four in the Bellator cage. Most recently, the Milennia MMA product suffered a first-round knockout loss to Brennan Ward at Bellator 163 this past November.
