Bellator 174's ratings don't appear to be spectacular, but they are an improvement over Bellator 173.
According to cable television ratings released on Monday by Nielsen, Spike's March 3 broadcast of Bellator 174 drew an average audience of 686,000, as well as a 0.20 share in the 18-49 adults demographic in Friday's preliminary overnight ratings. The broadcast aired for 133 minutes.
Bellator 174, which took place at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla., was headlined by a bout for the inaugural Bellator women's featherweight championship, where Julia Budd stopped Marloes Coenen in the fourth round to become champion.
