It's become a new habit of Melvin Guillard to miss weight, and lo and behold, it happened again today. Guillard weighed in at 157.9 for his lightweight fight against David Rickels, which is 1.9 lbs over the non-title limit of 156, so this Bellator 159 co-main event is now officially a catchweight.
Guillard (32-16-2, 2 NCs) has missed weight on his first attempt a whopping 5 times since August 2012, and this will be the 4th time he's forced a catchweight. His WSOF debut in July 2014 was a 157 lbs catchweight vs. Gesias Cavalcante.
