English middleweight Alex Reid will tangle with Spain’s Manuel Garcia next month as part of Bellator MMA’s British debut.
The three-round, 185-pound matchup was announced Monday by Atak Promotions, a company working with Bellator to promote the upcoming event.
Reid, 40, has not stepped into the cage in more than three years and has competed in mixed martial arts only three times since 2007. “The Reidernator” began a professional kickboxing career in 2009 and compiled a record of 3-1 with one knockout. In 2010, Reid appeared on and won the British version of “Celebrity Big Brother.
