Bantamweight champion Marcos Galvao puts his title on the line against Eduardo Dantas in the main event of Bellator 144 on October 23rd. Galvao will also be out to avenge a knockout loss that he suffered to Dantas at Bellator 89 in February 2013. The co-main event features a battle between Rafael Carvalho and Brandon Halsey for the vacant middleweight title.
Bellator 144 takes place from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. The main event will be televised live on Spike TV beginning at 9:00pm ET while the preliminary card will be streamed free on Spike.com at 7:00pm ET.
