For Bellator's return to the state of Texas on Friday night, L.C. Davis might have appeared bigger, but 38-year old Joe Warren was better.
In what was a No. 1 contender's bout in the bantamweight division, Warren — the former champ — frustrated and dominated the Kansas City fighter using his wrestling. In the end of the one-sided fight, the judges awarded "The Baddest Man on the Planet" a unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Warren lost his title against Eduardo Dantas back in March (verbal tap, kneebar), and is now primed to face the winner of Dantas-Marcos Galvao, which takes place in October.
