Bellator 142: 'Dynamite 1' ratings: 800,000 tune in for MMA/kickboxing event on Spike TV

The numbers for Bellator 142: "Dynamite 1" are in. And they are much lower than originally anticipated.

According to Spike TV, 800,000 viewers tuned in last Saturday night (Sept. 19, 2015) to watch the hybrid mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing card, which saw both Bellator and GLORY fights take place over the course of an almost four-hour broadcast (highlights).

Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Liam McGeary submitted Tito Ortiz in the main event, and Phil Davis submitted Emanuel Newton and knocked out Francis Carmont to win the one-night, four-man 205-pound tournament.

Also on the card, Saulo Cavalari defeated Zack Mwekassa by majority decision to win the vacant GLORY Light Heavyweight title to highlight the kickboxing action.
