Bantamweight prospect Thomas Almeida will attempt to continue his ascent when he meets Anthony Birchak at UFC Fight Night "Belfort vs. Henderson 3" in Sao Paulo on Nov. 7.
Promotion officials confirmed the matchup on Wednesday evening. UFC Fight Night takes place at Geraldo Jose de Almeida State Gymnasium and is headlined by the third meeting between Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort.
The 24-year-old Almeida is unbeaten in 19 professional bouts, including three triumphs in the UFC.
