Former bantamweight king Renan Barao will welcome Andre Ewell to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 137 in Sao Paulo on Sept. 22.
Sherdog.com confirmed the pairing following an initial report from Brazilian media outlet Combate. UFC Fight Night 137 takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium and is headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between Glover Teixeira and Jimi Manuwa.
Barao has fallen on hard times of late, losing four of his last five promotional appearances. Most recently, the 31-year-old Brazilian dropped a unanimous verdict against Brian Kelleher at UFC on Fox 28.
