"Bang," the head coach for T.J. Dillashaw, thought Dillashaw won three rounds to Dominick Cruz's two at UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston. The judges gave Cruz a split decision victory (48-47, 46-49, 49-46).
"I don't ever f*cking trust the judges," Ludwig told Ariel Helwani on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. "As we shouldn't."
Ludwig acknowledges the fight was close. Media scores were all over the place as well. But "Bang" felt it was fairly clear that Dillashaw won, especially the first, fourth and fifth rounds. He believes that should be enough to get Dillashaw a chance to earn back the UFC bantamweight title.
