Terry Brazier handed Rhys McKee the second loss of his young career and simultaneously stole his lightweight title with a unanimous decision win in the main event of BAMMA London on Thursday night in London’s York Hall.
Already the promotion’s welterweight champion, Brazier became one of the few double-weight champions in the history of the BAMMA organization with the victory.
Speaking after the fight, the newly crowned champion praised his 22-year-old counterpart.
“That was the best fighter I’ve come up against by far,” said Brazier. “I thought it was going to be a lot easier than it was.
