Kevin Ferguson Jr., the son of the late Kimbo Slice, will return to action for his second professional fight against D.J. Griffin at Bellator 179.
The California-based promotion confirmed the catch-weight bout following an initial report from The Sun on Friday. Bellator 179 takes place at the O2 in London and is headlined by a welterweight duel pitting Rory MacDonald against Paul Daley. The evening’s main card will be televised on Spike beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
“Baby Slice” made his pro debut at Bellator 165, where he was submitted at the 3:00 mark of round two by Aaron Hamilton.
