RIZIN Fighting Federation announced the full lineup for its upcoming event in Nagoya, Japan, on March 21, including Ayaka Hamasaki’s first defense of the atomweight belt.
Hamasaki (21-3) won the title by submitting Miyuu Yamamoto with a leg scissors choke in December. She looks to extend her winning streak to three by defeating Kanna Asakura (18-4), who won her last four under the RIZIN and Bellator banners.
According to sources, RIZIN has decided to postpone its previously announced plans for a show at the iconic Tokyo Dome due to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases in Japan, which brought new limitations to events.
