Coming back from an ACL and MCL tear is tough work, but Aspen Ladd is doing it. The women’s bantamweight contender will return to the Octagon on July 24th, where she is set to face off with Macy Chiasson. The fight was initially reported by ESPN, citing unnamed sources.
Ladd (9-1, 4-1 UFC) has not competed since December 2019, where she stopped Yuna Kunitskaya with strikes. Her only loss in the UFC to date came at the hands of former UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie.
Chiasson (7-1, 5-1 UFC), the TUF 28 women’s featherweight winner, has picked up wins in each of her last two contests over Marion Reneau and Shanna Young.
