A strawweight battle is set for the UFC’s summer slate.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a matchup between Ashley Yoder and Jinh Yu Frey has been added to the UFC’s fight card on July 31. While the event does not have an official venue or location announced, UFC President Dana White stated following Saturday’s UFC 262 event that the plan for the rest of 2021 is to host Fight Night events at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Yoder makes her fourth octagon appearance in a little less than 12 months with the hope of getting back in the win column.
