An arm injury has forced Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight Abel Trujillo out of his scheduled Octagon appearance later this month.
The 32-year-old Trujillo was slated to take on Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night 94 on Sept. 17 at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. MMAJunkie.com first reported the news Monday after confirming Trujillo's withdrawal with a UFC official.
The Blackzilians' Trujillo has won five of his last six bouts, with his lone loss coming in December 2014 to surging contender Tony Ferguson.
A search for a replacement opponent is now reportedly underway for Dunham, who has taken unanimous decisions over Rodrigo Damm, Ross Pearson and Joe Lauzon in his last three outings.
