The main event at BFL 45 will be a heavyweight championship fight between Arjan Bhullar and American Ryan Pokryfky. This bout will be Bhullar’s first title defense and second pro bout under the Battlefield Fight League banner.
BFL officials announced that Bhullar would be in the main event last week, and MMASucka.com found out his opponent on Tuesday morning.
Bhullar (3-0) fought one amateur bout despite wanting to go pro right off the hop. In his pro debut Bhullar defeated the former amateur heavyweight champ Adam Santos. He went on to earn a decision against Jon-Taine Hall at Hard Knocks 44 and most recently won the BFL heavyweight belt by knocking out Blake Nash at BFL 39 in October 2015.
