ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Anthony Smith defeated Tim Williams in their first bout on Feb. 28, but the Cage Fury Fighting Championships middleweight titlist sought a more definitive result on Saturday when the pair rematched at CFFC 50.
The man known as “Lionheart” blitzed Williams from the opening bell, eventually putting away “The South Jersey Strangler” with a knee that forced Referee Keith Peterson to halt the bout 1:02 into the opening round.
