In a recent segment of "Ask the Analyst" on Fox, former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis was asked by a fan whether he could see himself fighting current interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor in the future. Pettis, who lost his title to Rafael dos Anjos in March, responded with a predictable yes but made it clear that his belt is what is important to him right now:
