Former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis will return to 155 pounds to face Jim Miller at UFC 213 on July 8.
Multiple outlets confirmed the pairing on Wednesday following an initial report from Brazilian outlet Combate. UFC 213 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and features a bantamweight title tilt pitting Cody Garbrandt against T.J. Dillashaw.
Pettis dropped to featherweight for a two-bout stint last year. After submitting Charles Oliveira in the third round at UFC on Fox 21 in his 145-pound debut, “Showtime” suffered a third-round TKO defeat to Max Holloway in an interim featherweight title bout at UFC 206 this past December.
