Anthony Johnson (pictured) may have left Las Vegas without the light heavyweight title, but that doesn’t mean Johnson left UFC 187 empty handed. As a matter of fact, Johnson bolted with a duffle bag full of cash.
On Tuesday, the Nevada Athletic Commission revealed the disclosed salaries for all the contestants who competed in Saturday’s event. Johnson was tied with middleweight champion Chris Weidman as the night’s highest earner with a disclosed salary of $500,000.
Cormier, who submitted Johnson in the main event to capture the vacant light heavyweight crown, made $180,000 (half coming via win bonus).
