After a coma that lasted two days following complications from surgery, Angela Magana has woken up and appears to be recovering.
According to MMA Junkie on Thursday, Magana's coach Gabriel Lamastus has claimed she is out of her coma. A text message reportedly sent to the news outlet from coach Lamastus stated "Angela is responding to the treatment and is waking up!!! We are over joyed [sic]. She has been in and out of it." Additionally, he stated, "This started happening this morning," and followed up saying she has been able to speak to people.
