At UFC 148 on July 2012, Anderson Silva defended his middleweight title in a highly anticipated match-up against top contender Chael Sonnen. This was a rematch from their first bout at UFC 117, which Silva won with a comeback triangle finish in the fifth round. That night, Silva kept his belt and remained undefeated in the UFC by putting away Sonnen in the second round.
Now, almost five years later, Silva is getting ready to face top-10 middleweight Derek Brunson in the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC 208 which takes place in Brooklyn.
