Anderson Silva still wants Roy Jones fight, Jose Aldo wants Miguel Cotto

Long before Conor McGregor made noise about transitioning into boxing to fight Floyd Mayweather, Anderson Silva was already pushing for his own stint inside the ring. “The Spider” has been campaigning for a possible fight against four-division champion Roy Jones Jr for years now.

Now 41 years of age but still in active competition facing the top fighters of the UFC’s 185-pound division, Silva continues to hold onto his aspirations to face Jones sometime in the future.

"First, it was always a dream to fight a guy like Roy Jones,” Silva said during Tuesday’s UFC 212 press in Rio de Janeiro (via MMA Fighting).
