According to Anderson Silva, back when he last renewed his contract with the UFC, Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta promised him the long overdue bout with Georges St-Pierre. Now that GSP has returned, the super-fight wasn’t booked, and was instead matched up against Michael Bisping.
Silva, who was clearly frustrated and upset at the UFC, went off on the company’s recent decisions.
“Dana and Lorenzo say, ‘Okay, when Georges come back, you fight Georges for super-fight.’ I said ‘okay.’ I (trusted) him, but nothing happened,” Silva said on the MMA Hour.
