Anderson Silva: God told me to stop fighting following second loss to Chris Weidman

Are you there, God? It's me, Margaret "Spider."

After sitting at the top of the middleweight mountain for nearly a decade, Anderson Silva's career took a major hit following back-to back losses to current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 185-pound champion, Chris Weidman, back in 2013.

"The Spider" made a successful return to the Octagon earlier this year by defeating Nick Diaz at UFC 183 on January 31, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada (see it), following a year-long hiatus due to a broken leg suffered in his rematch against the "All American" at UFC 168.

Despite getting back into the win column and trying his hardest to forget about his previous losses -- as well as his gruesome injury -- those setbacks are something that the Brazilian bomber can't completely suppress.
