The UFC has just released a video of Silva being informed of his failed screening while filming “The Ultimate Fighter: Brasil.” Silva cried innocence from the jump.
“No, I didn’t take anything,” Silva told a confidant while UFC cameras rolled from behind.
The promotional clip starts with Silva pumping up his team, letting them know how the opportunity to compete on the show could change their lives. It ends with him telling them that he tested positive for a banned substance.
Talk about reality TV drama…
Silva failed his pre-fight, out-of-competition drug test for Drostanolone metabolites and Androsterone, a form of endogenous testosterone.
