Anderson Silva believes testing irregularities will clear him in NAC hearing

The former longtime UFC middleweight champion will have his disciplinary hearing in front of the Nevada Athletic Commission due to his steroid test failures on Aug. 13.

However, Silva's team believes their are inconsistencies in the drug tests, which will clear his name, MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani reported the news on Wednesday's edition of UFC Tonight.

NAC's Bob Bennett remains confident, as he told MMAFighting.com "I anticipate our findings to be accurate."

The 40-year-old Silva defeated Nick Diaz in the main event of UFC 183 on Jan. 31 in his return after suffering a gruesome leg injury against Chris Weidman at UFC 168.
