An undisclosed injury forced middleweight Antonio Carlos Junior to leave UFC Fight Night 137, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

It seems UFC Fight Night 137 is cursed.

Only one day after bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira was forced to leave the card with an injury, MMA Fighting reported that middleweight Antonio Carlos Junior also hurt himself and has pulled out of his bout against Elias Theodorou.

Initially meant to take Derek Brunson at UFC 227, Antonio Carlos Junior (10-2-1 NC) ended up paired up with Theodorou when his original opponent suffered an eye injury. The 28-year-old is currently on a five-fight winning streak, with four submissions, under the UFC banner. It is not known yet if Elias will remain on the card.
