Amazon gets rights to sell UFC pay-per-view events, starting with Saturday’s UFC 222

The next UFC pay-per-view will be available on Amazon.

On Wednesday morning, John Ourand from Sports Business Daily reported that Amazon had picked up non-exclusive U.S. rights to sell UFC pay-per-view events via their video platform – Amazon Prime Video.

The UFC-Amazon deal begins with this weekend’s UFC 222, which features a women’s featherweight title bout between pound-for-pound best Cris Cyborg and former Invicta FC champ Yana Kunitskaya. The event will go down on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Customers won’t need to be Amazon Prime members to order the $64.
