Back at UFC 163 on Aug. 3, 2013, current women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes made her UFC debut by taking on Sheila Gaff in the preliminary portion of the card. That night in Brazil, Nunes made quick work of Gaff by stopping her with ground-and-pound in the first round of their contest.
Now, four years later, Nunes is getting ready to complete her first title defense in a rematch against Valentina Shevchenko. The two bantamweights are set to meet in the co-main event of UFC 215, which is set to take place this Saturday at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
