Amanda Nunes vs. Germaine de Randamie 2 set for UFC 245

On Saturday night, MMA Fighting confirmed an initial report from ESPN of Nunes putting her UFC bantamweight title on the line against Germaine de Randamie at UFC 245 in December.

Nunes (18-4), the reigning UFC bantamweight and featherweight champion, previously finished de Randamie with a violent TKO win in their initial meeting in 2013. Since then, Nunes has continued her tear through both the UFC women’s 135 and 145-pound divisions, culminating in becoming the UFC’s third ever “champ champ” last December.

To date, “The Lioness” holds wins notable stoppage wins over former champions Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg, Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate as well as former title challengers Raquel Pennington and a pair of decision wins over current flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.
