LOS ANGELES — If the UFC had offered Amanda Nunes a chance to win a second UFC title against featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie this spring, she would have taken it.
Had Cris Cyborg been the offered opponent? Nunes would have told the UFC no, she said Wednesday at a UFC 213 media lunch in Century City.
“I’m interested in fighting the girl who has the belt now, de Randamie,” Nunes said. “Because I’d rather beat her. If UFC wanted to give me the opportunity to go up now, yes I would have taken it.
