Amanda Lemos replacing Leah Letson against Duda Santana at UFC Sao Paolo

MMA Fighting confirmed with sources that Lemos (6-1-1) will step in for Leah Letson to fight Duda Santana (3-1) in a bantamweight bout at UFC Sao Paulo on Nov. 16. Letson’s reason for withdrawing from the bout was undisclosed.

This will be Lemos’s second UFC fight, her first since debuting for the promotion in a losing effort against Leslie Smith on July 2017. The 32-year-old Brazilian was unbeaten in her first seven pro bouts before the loss to Smith.

A teammate of light heavyweight title contender Thiago “Marreta” Santos, Santana made her first UFC appearance this past June at a show in Stockholm where she was submitted by Bea Malecki.
