UFC bantamweight Amanda Lemos has accepted a two-year suspension from USADA for a positive steroid test.
The organization announced the sanction in a statement on Monday, revealing that Lemos tested positive for stanozolol and its metabolite in an out-of-competition drug screening conducted on Nov. 8. USADA’s statement is as follows:
USADA announced today that UFC athlete Amanda Lemos, of Belém, Brazil, has tested positive for a prohibited substance and accepted a two-year sanction for her anti-doping policy violation.
Lemos, 30, tested positive for stanozolol and its metabolite 16β-hydroxystanozolol following an out-of-competition urine test conducted on November 8, 2017.
