Originally booked to meet Gabrielle Holloway at the Bellator 182 card in Verona, N.Y., on Aug. 25, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace will now take on Amanda Bell. The promotion announced the change on Monday.
Bell (5-4) returns to the Bellator cage five weeks after finishing Brittney Elkin in her promotional debut. The California native, who defeated Holloway earlier this year, won back-to-back bouts since losing to future Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson.
Nogueira (6-0) was scheduled to compete twice before in Bellator, but pulled out of a 2015 bout with Julia Budd due to a knee injury, and then missed weight prior to a fight with Marloes Coenen at Bellator 163.
