Alonzo Menifield and William Knight will not be competing this Saturday.
A light heavyweight bout between Menifield and Knight scheduled for the UFC Vegas 20 preliminaries has been postponed after Menifield tested positive for COVID-19, MMA Fighting confirmed with sources with knowledge of the change following an initial report by MMA Junkie.
The bout was expected to take place on the preliminary portion of Saturday’s show, which takes place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The plan is for the fight to be re-booked for a later date.
Menifield was looking to rebound from a winless 2020, which saw him drop a unanimous decision to Devin Clark and take a KO loss to Ovince Saint Preux in his most recent outing.
