Overeem, who has won world titles in multiple promotions, was brutally knocked out in the first round with an ‘uppercut from hell’.
That’s no exaggeration, as it took ‘The Reem’ several minutes to regain his consciousness and find his feet after being flattened by Ngannou’s monstrous uppercut.
Taking it in good stride and seemingly fully recovered, the Dutch heavyweight legend posted a short statement on social media to reassure fans that he’s OK.
